MAT Exam Eligibility Criteria
MAT is a postgraduate-level entrance exam. Check below minimum eligibility criteria below for MAT 2025.
- A graduation in a stream from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Students in the final year of graduation can also appear in the MAT 2025
- Candidates pursuing a CA, CS, or ICWA degree are also eligible

MAT 2025 Registration and Application Process
MAT application form 2025 for CBT and PBT modes are the same. The MAT 2025 form can be filled in the online mode only. You can check out the MAT application process 2025:
- Open the AIMA MAT website i.e. mat.aima.in
- Click on Register
- Enter the basic details and generate the ID and password
- Use the OTP received to verify your Mobile Number for the successful completion
- Log in to access the MAT Application 2025
- Now pay the fee via online mode
- Select exam mode and the two test cities
- Fill in the complete details
- Upload the documents asked for
- Select the 5 institutes for AIMA to send your MAT score
- Now download a copy of the application form for future reference.
MAT Application Form 2025

MAT Exam Pattern 2025

- The total number of questions in the MAT is 150
- There are five sections in MAT
- Every section carries 30 questions
- Questions are in MCQ format with four options to choose the correct answer.
- Total marks are 150
- One mark is awarded for every correct attempt
- There is also a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each question

MAT Preparation 2025
MAT preparation is possible in six months. Since the difficulty level goes from simple to tough, candidates can score high with basic preparation of data analysis and data sufficiency, mathematical skills, intelligence, critical reasoning, and language comprehension. If you are preparing a format, then decide upon the examination phase. Check the MAT syllabus and MAT books. Depending on the degree of similarity with MAT topics, make a timetable for daily and strategies your preparation. Towards the end, practice a good number of MAT mock tests and sample papers.
